Important Standing Announcements from SBA

Face Covering Recommended At Santa Barbara Airport in English and Spanish

  • Check with your Airline often – For the most up to date information regarding your flight any any other safety policies. 
  • Domestic & International travel advisories and restrictions – Visit the CDC and U.S. Dept. of State websites for the most up to date information.
  • Visit the TSA COVID-19 website for information and TSA's Procedure Update  – be fully prepared and know what to expect if you do have to travel
  • No requirement of COVID-19 documentation to travel in/out of SBA.

  • Check-in to your flight online or on your phone before arriving at the Airport to minimize touch points.
  • When going through security checkpoints place your phone and any items in your pockets into your bag ahead of time. 
  • If you need to cough or sneeze, remember to cover your mouth with a tissue, even if wearing a mask. If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your sleeve or elbow.
  • Utilize your sanitation products to disinfect your personal items that are frequently touched such as phone or water bottle.
  • Avoid unnecessary contact with others, such as handshaking.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
