5:15am update: SBA remains closed due to flooding on the airfield. Crews are actively working on clearing the water to reopen the runway. 

Updates are being provided to airlines as they’re available. Please continue checking directly with your carrier for your specific flight status.

As of 1:15am on December 25, Santa Barbara Airport is temporarily closed due to flooding on the airfield. All commercial flights and fixed-wing aircraft are currently grounded.
