SBA is proud to partner with Therapy Dogs of Santa Barbara to help ease the stress of travel. Their trained therapy dogs make regular visits to the SBA Terminal to interact with passengers of all ages and bring a smile to faces. Be on the lookout for the their purple bandanas and make sure to say hello!

Meet some of the friendly faces you might see on your next visit!

Willow

Willow is a Golden Retriever who brings love to everyone she meets! Her favorite activity is running on the beach and her favorite toy is an orange rubber bone. As part of her continuing education, Willow is learned how to Salsa dance and she is always ready for the dance floor!

Rogue

Rogue truly loves people of all ages, from the smallest babies to the oldest seniors. This boy is ever-ready to please with a sweet lick, a shake of his paw, a flop onto his back for belly rubs, or a “hug” by leaping into your lap with just his front legs. Rogue is a playful guy, and loves meeting new pooch friends on the beach, in the park, or around town. His favorite things, besides people and dogs, are kitties, squeaky toys and balls, and a good chew session with a peanut-flavored bone.

Cali (California) is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who traveled from New Hampshire to become a California girl. She is sweet, very smart, and quite helpful around the house. Cali is calm, well-mannered and loves having her picture taken!

Mazda

Mazda is a Labrador Retriever whose favorite toy is his Jolly ball. Mazda is affectionately known as “Chillow” as he loves to just lay down and let the children cuddle on top of him.

Sierra

Sierra Wild Rose is a sweet and fluffy Bernedoodle who loves to give big hugs. Her favorite toy is her lambchop. She loves hiking and swimming and being a therapy dog along with her bro’ Jagger. 

Nya Therapy Dogs
Nya

Nya has a motto right after our own heart – Live, Love, Woof! This 87 pound Golden Retriever lives life to fullest with runs on the beach and games of chase with soccer balls and squeaky toys.

Miley Therapy Dogs
Miley

Miley is a Miniature Australian Shepherd weighing 30 pounds. Her favorite activity is catching balls and her favorite toy is her special Bacon Ball. Miley's motto is “I can play all day!”

Suzie Therapy Dog
Suzie

Suzi the Bernedoodle is 58 pounds of floofy love. This girl loves her Benebones, Zoomies and long walks. Suzi’s motto: “If life is a highway, I’m taking the fun bus!”

Scout Therapy Dog
Scout

Scout is a Parti-Poodle and he does love to Party! This 65 pound bundle of love enjoys cuddles with family, chewing on anything and everything and running wild on the beach.

Rain Therapy Dog
Rain

Rain is a Mini American Shepherd weighing in at a whopping 13 pounds Her favorite toys are soft stuffed animals. She loves agility and riding a boogie board. This adventurous girl is ready to do anything, anywhere, anytime and her motto is: life is exciting!

In Loving Memory of Jagger D'Wagger

Jagger D’Wagger was 63 pounds of pure love and fluffiness. Jagger passed on November 22, 2025 surrounded by his family. Throughout all his years volunteering, he brought absolute joy to everyone he met. He was a regular at the Santa Barbara Airport and he will be dearly missed. We are honored to have worked with him during his time on the Central Coast.
