Santa Barbara Airport Hosting Blood Drive on March 19

Santa Barbara Airport will host a community blood drive on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 9am to 3pm inside the Historic Ovington Terminal (500 Fowler Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93117).

The event is a collaborative effort between Santa Barbara Airport, Delta Air Lines, and the American Red Cross, bringing together local partners to support patients in need. Donated blood plays a critical role in emergency care, surgeries, cancer treatments, and much more. Eligible donors are welcome to donate whole blood or power red. For questions about eligibility, visit the Red Cross website. 

All presenting donors will receive:

  • Complimentary parking (for the duration of their appointment)
  • A $15 Amazon.com gift card via email courtesy of Red Cross
  • A souvenir bento-style container courtesy of Delta Air Lines
  • Plus: all successful donations will receive free A1C testing!

Walk-ins are welcome, but community members are encouraged to schedule an appointment to ensure availability.
