SBA Remembers 9/11 With Moment of Silence
On this day, Santa Barbara Airport remembers and honors the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001.
At 8:46 am, Airport staff and passengers took part in a moment of silence to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks. All TSA and Airport activity paused, and a public announcement was made throughout the Terminal. Two memorial wreaths can be found outside of the main entrance of the Terminal.
SBA joins airports across the nation to take part in this annual memorial. We will never forget.
