On this day, Santa Barbara Airport remembers and honors the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001.

At 8:46 am, Airport staff and passengers took part in a moment of silence to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks. All TSA and Airport activity paused, and a public announcement was made throughout the Terminal. Two memorial wreaths can be found outside of the main entrance of the Terminal.
